HydX’s organisation has been strengthened with the addition of a new mechanic. “We are now investing to meet the extensive demand,” says Mattias Salomonsson, Production and Logistics Manager at HydX.
Mini Power System (MPS), established by Lars Borssén back in 2005, specialises in quick installations and deliveries of tailored systems based mainly on components from Bosch Rexroth’s Compact Power Modules range of compact power modules and valves. HydX acquired the company in 2018 and relocated the production to Ystad in 2019.
“Our order intake has increased steadily, and to meet the demand, we have now hired an additional mechanic, which also doubles our capacity for pre-delivery test runs and secures 100% quality control,” says Mattias Salomonsson.
“Heading into 2022, our position is stable, and we are working now to become even more efficient. Improvements have been achieved in reducing our lead times and also in our working environment.”
HydX hired three new mechanics during the latter half of 2021, who will mainly work on mini aggregate installations. Marcus Widerberg joined the company in August, Roger Källström in November and Johan Ydén in December.
“We now have an all-new team working with MPSs,” Salomonsson says.
“While this has lowered the average age of our crew, we have managed to keep the experience level high, which is something we value highly.”
Roger Källström has 25 years of experience in the hydraulics industry, Marcus Widerberg has ten years, while Johan Ydén has several years of experience from two other industries.
“Our crew has now increased to three mechanics, which is the highest number ever. Our employees complement one another very well, which provides a solid foundation for continuing to increase our production rate, while also maintaining the high level of service and quality that our customers have grown to expect from us,” Salomonsson says.
