DanfosspartenThe Danish company was founded almost 90 years ago and is well known for its heating and cooling technologies, even though the company's Power Solutions hydraulic segment is its largest. In total, the company has 24,000 employees in 47 countries with a number of close partners. HydX is one of only a few designated partners in Europe. 
– We live in a dynamic and changing world where new technologies are being introduced at an ever-increasing pace. This makes it extremely important to have both a discerning system knowledge and a great understanding of the possibilities that these new solutions offer. That knowledge and understanding is vital, and we recognise it with HydX, explains Ulrik Krag. 
 
Danfoss Premium Partner 
 
Since 2018, HydX has been named Danfoss Premier Partner each year, it is an award that gives our company a unique place in an exclusive group of partners and is met with great respect even outside Sweden's borders. 
– HydX have shown a willingness to develop their competence platform, while at the same time demonstrate their ability to fulfil their commitments, and these are very important criteria for achieving this highest rating of Danfoss Power Solutions Premier Partner, says Ulrik Krag. 
– Thanks to their solid knowledge, professionalism and consistent strategy, HydX continuously manages to achieve the highest level.  
Several of HydX's employees have previously been employed by Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) and have between 20 and 25 years of experience working with their products. Today, the Danish company is HydX’s largest supplier and also their first choice when it comes to mobile and marine hydraulics. 
– We use as much of DPS's product portfolio as we can, but our greatest involvement is with their valves, pumps, motors and electronics. As the future is very much about electrification, we are constantly working to develop our expertise in this area also, says HydX Sales Manager, Henrik Pålsson. 
 
Growing with electrification 
 
In 2019, Danfoss acquired the US company UQM Technologies, which develops alternative energy technologies. This is just one of several acquisitions that Danfoss has made recently, and it further strengthens the company's position within electrification. 
– Increasing urbanisation requires new solutions in terms of efficient and climate-friendly infrastructure, as well as smart and interactive solutions between machine units that should also be able to integrate with humans. Therefore, the solution not only includes energy optimisation and pollution neutral variables, but also noise level is an important parameter, explains Ulrik Krag. 
As a Danfoss Premier Partner, HydX can of course help our customers take the next step in electrification. 
– HydX possess an extremely high level of competence, their employees are flexible and this, combined with their high customer focus, means that HydX and Danfoss have a close and prosperous collaboration. With such a large part of the new and unique knowledge that Danfoss is developing being conveyed through continuous training and competence development, it is extremely important for us to have a close relationship with HydX, Ulrik Krag continues.
