HydX celebrated a major anniversary in 2022. HydX became a teenager, is in the middle of a growth phase and is facing the future with confidence. At first, it can be hard to fathom that HydX just celebrated its 13th birthday. The time has flown and the company that started up in the autumn of 2009 has grown, found its place and is now entering its next growth phase. Ever since day one, HydX has delivered world-class hydraulics solutions, together with strong partners like Danfoss Power Solutions, Black Bruin, Parker Hannifin, Reggina Riduttori, Scanreco, Slack & Parr and Bosch Rexroth. Together, we provide our customers with an extensive range of high-quality customised products. In 2021, our owner Volito acquired both our sister companies ETP Kraftelektronik and Blue Pac, which provided us with an OEM partner specialising in electric drives. Almost precisely one year later, in June of 2022, our owner acquired Mobile Integrator, which offers highly sought-after software and hardware solutions for mobile machines. This has given HydX two fantastic partners and strengthens each of us for the future. We have a strong partnership and we support one another in finding unique solutions, tailored to customers’ needs and applications. Our close collaboration provides our customers with time-efficient, sustainable and climate-smart solutions. We call this collaboration ‘The One’ because we can deliver turnkey solutions, optimised to our customers’ needs. In 2022, HydX has taken a further step up in terms of its turnover, continues to hire new talent and will build new premises here in Ystad, with the goal of moving in during the first quarter of 2024.
This is great news. The year 2022 has been a turbulent one in which global happenings have had a major impact on our daily work. Delivery times, transport costs, inflation and other major factors beyond our control affect us and our customers every day. The conditions have changed several times during the year, but looking back, I am incredibly proud of how our employees have met the challenges and shown a fantastic team spirit, working together to do their best for our customers. The economic forecast going into 2023 predicts a downturn and we are living in uncertain times. At the same time, HydX’s market share is growing and our business is solid. We have developed in leaps and bounds, we are a growing teenager and we have extremely competent and engaged employees who form the foundation of our company. At HydX, we have built a team where we work together, giving our 13-year-old extra support and strength during this exciting growth phase.
