The demands on mobile machinery are changing fast. Electrification, connectivity and increasingly sophisticated systems are raising the need for specialist expertise, while more OEMs are looking for partners that can take greater responsibility throughout the development process. For HydX, this is creating new opportunities across the Nordic region and in selected technologies and applications.
“Customers increasingly want to work with fewer partners that can bring a broader range of expertise and support them further into the development process. At the same time, we’re seeing activity pick up across several of our markets. That puts us in a strong position to grow where we can make a real difference for our customers,” says Mikael Andersson, CEO at HydX.
Expansion into Norway, growing demand for customised hydraulic manifolds and opportunities within sectors such as defence are all part of that picture. Electrification and connectivity are also creating new requirements for machine manufacturers.
To build on this momentum, Per Willberg is taking on a new role as Business Developer, focusing on turning these market needs into new customer projects.
“Business development starts with understanding where our customers are heading. What will the next generation of machines need to deliver, and where can we add the most value? The greatest opportunities often come when we’re involved early and can bring several areas of our expertise into the same project,” says Per Willberg.
